This coffee won 4th place at the 2024 Taste of Harvest competition during the 20th African Fine Coffees Conference and Exhibition.

Managed by Uthman Muluwa, the Mabono Station "4 Hills Honey Microlot" at Mountain Harvest exemplifies their commitment to coffee education in isolated Mount Elgon communities. Uthman's journey from a casual laborer to Processing Manager showcases Mountain Harvest's belief in individual potential. The micro-washing station, strategically nestled between Mabono, Namesti, Itimbwa, and Bukalasi hills, is a hub for innovative coffee processing led by Uthman. Using a meticulous Honey processing method, this microlot reveals unique notes of black tea, caramel, honey, floral, grape, and vanilla.
